TW Baseball Field

Did it affect the softball field too after the work they have done to it as well?

Didn't look like it, I know the pressbox and everything is still standing.

Only thing affected was the baseball field I believe. The wind knocked the bleachers over, and I was told that there was stuff that was inside the pressbox laying on the football field. I was also told the pressbox/lockerroom was a complete loss and will have to be torn down and completely rebuilt.

That is a shame. I know they had put alot into the field since they last held regionals with Lee McDavid working on the playing surface, and amenities around the field.

Yeah, the improvements TW has made to their baseball field, football field, and the new softball field over the past few years is incredible. It really is a shame, and the wierd thing is nothing else around the school was harmed.

Football field? You talking about the home bleachers about 10 years ago, or have they done something else? I wasn't down there this past season.

Oh okay. I knew they were planning it, but I didn't know they finally got it contracted. That is good. Now JIB is the only school around without a fieldhouse I believe.
